Jean-Cosme (JC) Dodart is Chief Scientific Officer at Vaxxinity and Head of the Vaxxinity’s Research Laboratories based in Merritt Island, Florida. JC has more than 20 years of experience in Neuroscience drug development at both large Pharma (Lilly, Merck, Novartis) and small Biotech (Sage Therapeutics, Wave Life Sciences). He has a strong track record of success in drug discovery and has worked in many neuroscience disease areas including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, neuromuscular disorders, pain and depression. Many of the pre-clinical projects that JC has worked on have made it into clinical testing including several promising drug candidates that are currently in clinical trials. JC earned a M.S. degree in cell biology and physiology from University Pierre & Marie Curie in Paris and a Ph.D. degree in neuroscience from University Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France.
