Manal Morsy brings over 30 years of rich experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry to her role as Chief Regulatory Officer at Vaxxinity. Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Morsy has held significant positions at major pharmaceutical companies including Merck, Johnson & Johnson, PTC Therapeutics, and Athersys. Her expertise encompasses leading numerous marketing authorization approvals, managing the opening of IND applications, filing successful CTAs, and securing pivotal designations and certifications across various target indication programs. These include Fast Track, Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy, Quality Certification, and Special Protocol Assessments for pivotal registration studies, as well as rolling submissions and conditional, accelerated approvals.
Dr. Morsy received her MD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Alexandria, a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biological Sciences from Eastern Virginia Medical School/Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, and an MBA from the LeBow Business School at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
